IMO, the bathroom is the primary location for a good vent fan. Not just for bathroom odors but also to vent shower moisture.
Bringing the odors and moisture out into your living area is not a good idea.
I understand the fan drawing odors from the black tank when you flush, but flushing is fast - the valve is only open for a couple seconds. I get in the habit of turning the fan off when I flush.
But when I shower I like to have the fan on to get rid of the moisture as quickly as possible. It is already hard enough to keep the humidity down in an RV.
I would put the good fan in the bathroom first and if you want a second, put it at the opposite end or in the living area.
