X2 Don't do it at your bank. No way of knowing the check is good. - lbrjetExplorerI went to the purchasers bank with him and watched the transaction as he took the money out of savings and cut me a cashiers check. Safest way IMO.
- Cobra21ExplorerPeople get cashiers checks and money orders at the bank a day or so ahead of the puchase. Now they call them in as lost or stolen. Next they come to you to buy the RV. Always do it at the bank and make sure the paper is good!
- joebedfordNomad IIWouldn't it be more certain if we went to the purchaser's bank? Don't these things take time to clear?
- sch911ExplorerCashiers check, or Certified check. You both go to the bank that holds you lien (if you have one), or your bank and make the transaction. The bank will know if the check is good or not.

- Old_DaysExplorer III have made the sale at my bank before, park by the cameras go inside have them verify the cashiers check then do the transfer.
- GordonThreeExplorerWe talking about selling a multi million $ class A or something in the four to low five figure range?
For a big deal maybe a title company / attorney and escrow setup?
