Speaking as someone who's driven through the Elkhart area many times, I can attest to seeing SCADS of chassis sitting in the sun, waiting their turn to be made into motorhomes. Especially one like ours: 2003 chassis and 2004 date of manufacture; although I have to admit that when we put new tires on our Class C, the 9-yr-old Michelins looked brand new; had deep treads at 45,000 miles; and we were so happy with them that we bought them again.
