Apparently, the OP didn't even "kick the tires" when he bought the RV.

The 5th wheel forum is chock full of happy Michelin owners on RVs that sit for long periods ('cause they aren't driven).
Regardless of the hard to see date code - it's common knowledge MH chassis sit for upwards of a year before being built.
(Of course they cover 'em, LOL!)
