By what I read the op knew the tires were bad when he bought the rig. That is why he got the seller to split the cost of the new tires with him. He isn't saying that he didn't know the shape of the tires. I think that some of you people need to learn to read what is written. He is saying that this shouldn't happen to tires this fast. He also wants to brewing it to michelins attention so that they can check it out. If the tires dry rotted this fast mabe there is something wrong with the batch of rubber that was used in those tires. They can go back and see if other tires made with the same batch of rubber are having problems. Then if they are then they can find out what went wrong with the batch. I would think that that is what a good reputable company would want to do.
