Ok rockhillmanor, let me school you step by step on the entire series of events that happened the day we bought it since you seem bent on having the last word. This is a small town and people TRUST each other. The day we bought it, is was VERY windy. The elderly owner showed me everything on the outside and how it works, but we didn't stay outside long because of the wind. We were impressed at the overall shape of it. After we agreed to purchase it, he said if there is anything you have an issue with, do not hesitate to give me a call.
I get the thing home and after the wind died down, I look underneath it and happened to glance at the right rear tire and notice the cracks. Then I checked all the tires and saw they were all in the same condition. Understand, I am 60 years old and my eyes are not what they used to be. Then I call the original owner up to ask him if he ever tried getting them replaced under warranty. Like me and the wife, he didn't even know the cracks were there and was just as dumbfounded considering the age and how it was stored. At our age, you don't even see them unless you stick your face a foot away. He offered to pay half for new tires. And that is how it went down. Hopefully, but probably not, this satisfies you. If not, oh well.....I'm happy with how everything turned out and could really care less what you think. Have a great weekend!
