Blowing Out Lines

Was winterizing my MH today and was using air to blow out the lines. I hooked the compressor up to the MH and started winterizing before I realized the compressor was set at 50PSI. I was almost done when I realized this and lowered the pressure to about 35PSI. I don't think any damage was done to the lines. Any thoughts?
  • I had my TT at the factory for a water leak and they used 85 psi to check it. they kept it at 85 psi for about 20 minutes- no leaks.
  • Thanks for all the quick replies. I do feel better now knowing that 50# is not too much. Thanks again.
  • Dutchmen used in my Kodiak PEX tubing; manual states that the system is pressure-tested @ 100PSI during assembly.

I blow the lines with 60 PSI too, no issues.
  • I blow out at 40#, I doubt that 50# would cause problems. Simple to find out though. Close all faucets and pressurize system to, say, 40#. See how fast it bleeds down. If a few seconds, you have a problem.
  • I blow out at 50psi all the time and have not had any problems. I always make sure one water line is open before I apply air pressure.
