Blue Ox KarGard II ?

I'm using a Ready Brake Elite towbar with a Blue Ox baseplate on my 2009 CRV. I was thinking about getting a Blue Ox KarGaurd II to try to protect the front of my CRV. Has anyone used the KarGaurd II and what kind of experience have you had? I'm guessing it would work with my set-up since it looks like it will hook-up to the Blue Ox baseplate on the TOAD side.
