Boyce-Thompson Arboretum, Superior, AZ
We stopped by to visit our friends at the arboretum this week as we passed through the Apache Junction area and my friend Paul asked me to post the following notice for him.

BOYCE THOMPSON ARBORETUM in ARIZONA has an April vacancy. Ever wanted a chance to "road test" the lifestyle of being a resident park host volunteer couple? BTA has one immediate opening for a couple who can commit to the month of April 2015 (May and June, too -- if you welcome the heat of an AZ summer). Duties? Expect to ring-up visitor admissions. Cash register experience is preferred, but they'll train if you don't have that; also hospitality "greeter" duty welcoming and orienting arriving visitors. Maybe also watering plants & other light-duty visitor center and gift shop tasks as assigned. Couples are preferred, and 20 hours per person each week scores an FHU (that includes water, sewer & electric; not propane). No additional pay. The Arboretum is a magnificent 300-acre desert garden collection that we've heard described as "Arizona's most exclusive gated community." Request an application by email btainfo@ag.arizona.edu.
