When we got into RVing years ago, we stayed at a SP Ga/SC border. Enjoyed it a lot, even the campfires that weren't ours. About noon on a sunday the folks just thru the trees from us were packing up to leave. Their fire was still burning. I think they put every piece of scrap they had generated that weekend. Tin cans, beer cans, milk cartons, paper towels. This was nasty and so redneck trashy! Did I mention they had a baby? Babies generate lots of dirty diapers by the pounds. Apparently every diaper that baby used that weekend ended up on that smoldering garbage dump.
Seasoned, dry wood only with lots of ventilation if you insist on a fire please!
In the Georgia state park that we were at they provide a dump area (several) for gray water............. at one someone had dumped it all ............ they don't necessarily limit themselves to campfires!!
