bug bombs

We just trimmed the palm trees in the yard and that ran the palmetto bugs in my rv. So last night I set off one of those bug bombs and again tonight I set off another I want to make sure they are dead, hate those things. Right after I locked the door and not suppose to go back in for 4 hours I hear some alarm going off inside. It's carbon monoxide alarm, I'm not going back in Rv until in the morning, I shouldn't have anything to worry about do you think.
  • I think (???) it is the propane alarm.

    1. If you spray bug spray near the propane alarm the alarm will go off. I think most (?) spray cans use propane (since Freon is banned) as the propellant.

    2. When I lived in FL, (1992) someone placed a large number (6 ?) of bug bombs in a small apartment - two in each room. The apartment caught fire and exploded because of the pilot light (?) on the gas water heater.

    Be careful.
  • We bug bomb the trailer regularly. The alarm always goes off. No prob. No consequence.

    I agree.
Some of them get hot enough to start fires.
    There are warning on them.
