Bug splatters on front of TT

Washed my TT this past weekend after going to the coast, majority of the trailer cleaned up really nice however the front is still plastered with dead bug spots, they weren't coming off without a fight. I used a RV cleaner (diluted) for the rest of the rig, anyone have any tips to get the bug splatters off?

Thanks, Rex
  • like mentioned here already, ive used bug off and simple green and it works like a charm

For really tough marks or stains on my trailer ill use goo gone. But i always use dawn dish soap behind it as that stuff leaves a really nasty oil residue
  • I spray on peroxide then wipe off with dryer sheets. No elbow grease required.
  • Just to make sure, dryer sheets won't hurt anything? I'm probably going to try that this weekend since I don't have time to grab anything else.
  • After getting the area wet and soaked as best as possible, I us a rag, hot water, and elbow.

    Dryer Sheets.

    Used ones!!

After being in dryer the sheets get collected in a grocery bag for next wash job on 5vr.

Dampen them then wrap around the head of a wide wash brush and lightly scrub front cap while rinsing with hose.

Majority of bugs will come off w/o lots of effort
  • Simple Green is what has always worked for me for bug removal. I hear that most anything will work with lots of elbow-grease.
