Bug splatters on front of TT

Lots of wax after you get them off. Any harsh cleaners you use to get the bugs off will also strip the wax off and make them stick harder next time

Glass Cleaner with ammonia works well too.
And any method will be easier with a good coat of wax on the trailer. With the super easy spray waxes out there, it only takes like a minute to wax the front cap regularly.
Never heard of dryer sheets. Will have to try that.
Bug n far remover obviously works, but I don't like that stuff. Road tar gets a wipe with gasoline, acetone, lacquer thinner, brake cleaner etc then a shot of spray wax.

We wash the bugs off after every travel day so we do not have a problem with encrusted bugs that seem welded to the front. We ask, only use a small bucket and a brush (never a hose), and have never been told "no" . We are full timers so we cannot wait to arrive back at an sticks and bricks to remove the bugs. Oh, we use Rejex too which helps.

After you get it cleaned off apply some REJEX and you will be amazed how easy the bugs come off next time!

Are the dryer sheets safe for paint/clearcoat surface?

Wow, I wouldn't have ever thought of dryer sheets! Definitely going to have to try that. I use Simple Green.

On our trip to Alaska we stopped at a truck stop and asked a trucker what he uses. He carries gallon jugs of water and windshield washer fluid. When they get too bad he stops, adds a little water to a bucket; adds some washer fluid and cleans his windows.

We tried this method every night when we stopped and it worked fantastic not only for the windows but also on the front of our motorhome. The bugs came off very easy.

You haven't seen bugs until you drive to Alaska. I think they all migrate up there in the summer!

One more testimony for used dryer sheets. Since I don't use dryer sheets in my laundry, I have to scour the laundromat wastebaskets for them.
