Bugs 'N All. Anybody tried it?

Just saw an ad on my phone and read it but I figured the best resource on how it really works was fellow campers. So, have any of y'all tried it and with what results? I have used Wet and Forget to clean the camper before (not bugs necessarily) and found it did a pretty decent job over time. The camper was just sitting in the yard during the fall/winter and for doing nothing more than spraying it with this, it worked pretty good, although it still needed washing. I would certainly recommend Wet and Forget. So, what about this other stuff?

  • I recently bought some Bugs 'n All. Tried it on the bugs on the front cap of the rig and it does work. That said, heavy duty (red) Wash Wax All did a better job for me and as mbrooking said, left a nicely waxed surface.

I have also used dryer sheets in the past with good results but again, WWA cleans and waxes in one operation.

    Happy trails,
    Bill
  • I've been using the dryer sheets on our trailer, truck and car for about 10 years now. It's one of the best tips I ever got off of this forum. We have them at the house all the time anyway, so why not use them when they work so well. I've even put a couple of them in cabinets to keep linens from smelling stale when the trailer is closed up for long periods.
  • Now you tell me. I just ordered some today.

I am looking for something to use on my new (to me) 2011 f-150 pickup. The Ford factory stuff had good reviews but, had a Skull and Crossbones on the can and said wear gloves and a respirator while using.

I was hoping this stuff would work with less damages to me and the environment. lol
  • I forgot I asked this. I never get notifications even though I check the dot to get them. Im surprised only one person has used this. Surely there are others and they just haven't seen it. The dryer sheets sure sound good.
  • I gave it a try, and for a heavy bug problem, it would work well. However, my wash and wax all seems to work almost as well, and leaves a nice waxed surface.
  • I haven't used it....but am interested after watching the video.
But, "too good to be true." I am just wondering?
Hopefully others here on the Forum will give a first hand review.
  • Just Monday, we drove on RT 17 in South Carolina and were inundated with love bug swarms. So you can imagine the mess I had. I have previously read about dryer sheets on the forum but never used them. So I brought out one unused sheet of Bounce, wet everything down, and those love bugs came off without any scrubbing.

Motor Home and Trailer Life magazines get RV related product sponsor-ships all the time, but why pay for this bug juice when you can use a simple, less costly remedy that is proven to work? I had my doubts I'll admit but was not disappointed.

So no - I won't be buying it. I spent less than a penny on one dryer sheet and removed ALL the bugs with minimal effort.
