Nothing trumps the floorplan you desire, dealers are secondary although it doesn't hurt to purchase from one that has a good reputation for quality service after the sale. Many who purchase out of state or from dealers a couple of hours away use a mobile RV tech to get repairs whether in or out of warranty, which saves the headache of dragging your rig to the dealer and having to wait weeks and sometimes months for resolution. Hope your new rig is all that you expect.
Yes, I agree; floor plan is quite possibly the most important thing to look for.
Many years ago, when searching for our first Class A, we found a dealer that had just what we were looking for: A 27 foot Class A with Dodge M400 chassis, 440 engine, in good shape, right at our price point. It simply didn't occur to me to look at the floor plan. It was horrible! When the bed was made, we had to crawl across it to get to the bathroom. Everything else was great.
It didn't take but a year or so to trade it in on a 32 foot rear bedroom Class A.
a good dealer is a great thing, but if you get a lousy floor plan you will eventually hate the rig!
