Thanks for all of the responses.
I've come across a few posts about RV quality issues, for example, http://rvtravel.com/readers-speak-out/ and https://livingstingy.blogspot.com/2014/09/the-rv-industrys-dirty-litle-secret.html which got me thinking that it might be really helpful to have a dealer with a good reputation close to home to address issues that come up. Being new to this I'm not sure if the problems people have are exaggerated in posts like these or if it's just part of the reality of being a TT owner.
But if I view buying a TT like buying a car (or anything else for that matter) then the model/product comes first and dealer/retailer second.
