x2. My 2015 Silverado 3500 shortbed and recently had the same B&W companion system installed. I have the SAME ISSUE. I haven't towed my new Open Range 337RLS, except to home, so far, so no damage yet. Now I'm very concerned. I will contact my installer immediately and see if they are aware of the problem/fixes.
