If, and that's a big if.... the increase in gas tax is used ONLY for highway infrastructure...that will be great and I'm more than willing to pay the increase.:C

And that's a fact Jack! However my statement was just meant that "I" personally not only will (due to the fact I don't have a choice as long as I live in California), be willing!

IMO the people deserved what they get from the Politicians they elect. I left CA 17 years ago and do not miss all of the taxes and high costs of living there. That is the worst State run by he Democrats who never saw an opportunity for raising more taxes. Just like the High Speed rail they are building and are Millions over budget.
No wonder so many Large Corporations that have moved out of State.
