I think ya'll need to stop whining about your gas prices is what I think... :( Our gas (metro Vancouver, BC area) is currently at approx. $3.75 USD per gal. - 2nd highest in Canada. Makes California look like a bargain to us.
Our local gas taxes total approx. $1.22 USD per gallon ($0.42 Can per liter). Since we are in a rural area, we don't even get the benefits of what the taxes go towards. Our local tax breakdown:
