Good morning Murphysranch. I can't comment much on the politics of the state as we are not residents although we do own property there and pay taxes. However, re preferences between plane and fast train. I think you would find that the majority of folks who have travelled fast trains would pick fast trains over planes pretty much always. It is just a much nicer experience in terms of comfort, stress, convenience etcetera. Especially on something like a run from SanFrancisco to LA. Of course this is just my humble opinion.
