Not every state has the ability for petition and referendum. But every state has elections. If you don't like what is happening get involved, find others that are like minded and make your voice heard. And regardless of what many say "get out and vote". If you don't vote you are accepting what happens whether you agree or not. Maybe it won't happen this time or the next but everything has a cycle and will change.
