20- 25' surf in Crescent City and on pebble beach was quite a sight to see this afternoon.
At high tide, the breakers were topping the sea wall sending spray way, way up and out. The sea was violent even in the harbor.
Redwoods Nat'l and Ca. Redwoods state parks byways closed 'til sat. due to high winds, road hazards.
Oh sure, by standards in other parts of the country, this storm may seem lame, But it is not to these folks with their particular concerns.
Lets hope that this system brings relief in the long run.
