$133.00 for this kit.I need to know what happens when it rains hard using the generator?Has anyone owned one of these that would know?Does the water settle in the elbow of the main exaust pipe?Drilling a hole to let rain drain seems to defeat the purpose.Could I use a 90 degree at the top?

Much to do about nothing. How much water do you think enters the pipe?There is not a solid connection between venturi piping and exhaust pipe, there is an air gap between the two.The negligible amout of water entering from the top will simply drain at the bottom

The generator continued operating normally and any small amount of rain that entered the exhaust elbow was either blown back out or dried by the hot exhaust. No drain hole needed.

The water will pass through and drop to the ground since there is no closure between the genturi and the exhaust pipe.
