Despite all the negative posts and all the ranting here and other forums, I have noticed a general overall "happiness" among campers. Campgrounds are generally a “happy” place.
Recently I observed a set of grandparents bring their two grandkids aged 10 and 12 camping for two weeks. They allowed NO electronics! The girls rode their bikes, filed out coloring books and made frequent fishing trip with grandpa. On the last day, I struck up a conversation with the kids and asked them if they had a good time. They responded that they had a great time even without their “toys.”
Generally, most campers are happy as they pursue their hobby. Doesn't matter what type of camping unit you have. Before you say: “Yeah BUT,” I am speaking in GENERAL terms not specific experiences.
