As long term travelers, not weekend warriors, we seem to notice a bit of a difference. With the CG full of weekend warriors people seem to stay more to themselves or the regular weekend groups. During the week, when CGs are lightly used & tend to have the transient traveling folks, those who are there tend to interact more with the where are you from?, where are you going?, where have you been? & swapping of experiences type of interaction.
Going to Alaska is a great example of this. Everyone is on the same "mission".
