How do you know the battery isn't defective? Was it bench tested? Just because it takes a charge does not mean it's not defective. And if it's new, wouldn't it be covered under warranty? The toilet issue, Take pictures or a video and take it back to have it fixed. Replicate the issue with the service department standing there. Sometimes it helps to call the manufacturer directly. Is the leak in the base/seal or in a plumbing line? I doubt the service department would provide intentional mis information. What's the benefit in that? I mean, service work is their bread and butter, why would they not want to fix an issue and get paid for it?
I read your review on Google. The dealer responded quickly so it looks like they are willing to work with you to deal with your issues. I know sometimes RV ownership and purchases and service can be frustrating, but your problems are minimal, frankly and the dealership seems responsive. Often it comes down to communication. And like I said, call the manufacturer directly.
