Sad to hear of events like this, but you will whenever thugs feel safe. There are two ladies in south Florida, a restaurant owner and my own family who all have felt a little safer because I had a "friend" along. I know this was Cali, and their attitudes there, but this is what you invite and the sad thing is that as you go farther outside the towns into more rustic country, LEO's are farther and farther away.
