Pennsylvania State Park System only allows a 14 constitutive night stay. But alot of the private campgrounds around here have seasonal sites available. Why? Because it is a steady, guaranteed income for the CG. That site will always be occupied. Not just on weekends, holidays, or local events but every single night. Looking at it from the CG's point of view it makes perfect financial sense. They can then turn around and put that money right back into the campground. It is the CG's responsibility to make sure the permanent sites are not a eyesore. The higher priced the CG is the better maintained it will be. Usually, the seasonal sites are all in one area away from the other camper's.
We are looking into choosing a seasonal site location (beach or local) Most CG web sites will list a price for a seasonal site if available. Or try looking for a campground map.
