- VeebyesExplorer IIHad one today, though the offender was not an RVer.
At the dump area of the SP we were at last night there is a "Absolutely NO Parking" sign so that rigs, especially larger ones, can make the turn around & get into the dump area.
I arrive to find a red mini van parked right below the sign & not even close to the side of the road. A few hundred feet away I spot 2 people walking away from the area. I lean on the horn which gets their attention. I point to the minivan which gets a hand raised in response.
More than adequate parking for cars is available not 30 seconds addditional walk time away BTW.
Back he comes. I point to the dump. "I thought you could go into it the other way" says Mr Lazy. Now we all know that RVs dump on the driver side don't we, not the passenger side.
I inform Mr Lazy that signs are placed for a reason & RVs, especially large ones cannot get to the dump if his vehicle is parked there not 10' from the "NO PARKING AT ANYTIME" sign.
Lucky I did not get the one finger salute I guess. Rather than go park where he should have in the first place he decided he did not want that walk in the park & left.
You see it all the time. It is the 'all about me' attitude. First at the buffet line, first off the plane, got a handicapped tag when they are perfectly capable of walking. To heck with everyone else. - Idaho_JoeExplorerHad someone in our camp get shot by a landowner over the 4th of July

Ok, after reading these stories, does anyone still wonder why there are class A-only resorts with 10 year age limits on motorhomes?
Yeah, because none of them were bought with drug money or money from other illegal ventures :R
'Walter White' could have been right next to you in a Tiffin and you'd never know until a black SUV pulled in and started unloading.

Fortunately, to date, I've never camped in a state where handguns were allowed and I hope I'm snugly in my TT when the OK Corral reenactment begins.
What country are you from? All the states in the Union allow handguns.
Next it will be, "I'm so glad they don't allow pickups where I camp, darn drunken fools"
It's not the object, it's the idiot behind the wheel. Sheesh. - rickeoniExplorer

Video of any situation is good to have as with audio recording of any conversations with those of a contrary nature. People like that tend to lie. just sayin.

- shiraeExplorerLoose dogs have always been a issue, for all the obvious reasons. One way we found to combat this problem is to carry a video camera and film the entire indecent. This is the evidence you will need to present to the ranger or camp host. This usually is all you need. No verbal contact is necessary. (It falls on deaf ears anyway) My dog won't bite, my dog won't harm anyone. It's all your fault for having fear of my charging growling mean acting dog. Comments will follow I"m sure. Always do.
