Many times new is not better. If you truly want a dependable, easy-to-use stove, get on Ebay or Craigslist and get an older Coleman two burner stove. SOme may require a bit of cleaning or a new part but very little goes wrong and they last forever if not left out in the rain. The new ones - I wouldn't give five dollars for one. I got tired of the dim lighting lanterns today and bought at an estate sale a 1960 something lantern. It lights the entire site for a few pennies!
