Yes, I've gone on mining trips (gems and gold), waterfall viewing trips, Fall mountain foliage sightseeing trips, and caving (show caves, not spelunking) trips and explore area sushi bar trips (if near major cities).

But one of my favorite "theme" trips is the go deep in the mountains, relax and view wildlife trips. 2 of my favorite places to do this are Cataloochee (in GSMNP - booked this Oct.) and Upper Chattahoochee River (N. Ga mountains, near Helen, Ga - last Oct. ) Various places in Arkansas are right up there too.
