As full-timers we were always out there on the holidays. How we got around it was that we picked parks that had nothing to do with water - no pools, lakes, rivers. That's where the holiday campers like to go. Then we had a nice quiet, relaxing weekend. I'm sure you can find something on that order - even a small mom and pop would be relaxing.
