That certainly is frustrating but you are the odd man out. I guess I would just take the "stuff" to the trailer and leave the car in your spot until you get back. A 34' TT is a big honking trailer.
One upside to that is that some moron won't leave his car in your spot while he's gone. That has happened to me more than once at a storage lot. We bought that house before we ever thought about RVing.
You can bet when we went house shopping we fixed that issue. We even realigned the driveway and made it 24 feet wide.
