Hi folks. I found this video on the web. If you have ever done any car camping this will bring back memories. Watch it through, this guy has a great sense of humour. And just to clarify when you hear the term, "camping mode" in a tesla allows for constant running of the AC/heating system without having the car in the "on". Interesting. Electric is where we are headed I guess. Nice charging station in Lone Pine near Western movie museum unless it’s raining, snowing or windy.

Is he one of those Silicone Valley entrepreneur making high six figures but barely afford food and shelter?

I've heard of people doing that in a Prius, too. The battery runs the climate control systems, and when the battery runs low, the engine kicks on to charge it.

I'm still waiting for that Tesla Class A built on their new truck chassis. If they come through with a 300 mi. range, it would satisfy most RV'ers, I'm thinking.

I think it would be a little better in an X but I have only been in an X maybe twice. Seems to me it was higher inside. It definetly has better clearance for the off road crowd. Out of my budget...and I don't like SUV's anymore. :)

I will pull it with my MH built on a Tesla semi extended chassis :)

Yah we are probably past that point too unless they find a way to put a porta-Potti in there. Having said that in our younger days we did some car camping in our Jeep Grand Cherokee. Kinda fun. Mostly in norther Ontario. Good memories...but I prefer the Motorhome.

The guy in the video has a model X and whatever he does for a living takes him all over Europe. I would probably like that kinda job...at least for a while. :)

Yah. No engine to fall back on though in a tesla. Then again it would probably take a week to run it down.

Nope. Norwegian guy. Think he is in sales. Travels a ton of miles in europe. Has some interesting vids.
