What is the best way to secure steering wheel when locking column is not avaible on car

Rich if the dolly pivots or the wheels turn, steer, then the car steering wheel MUST be secured only one pivot point is allowed or the car can start "wagging" going down the road and can make contact with the fenders.
On our Sorento I used the seat belt threaded through the spokes and extended all the way. May switch to a ratchet strap but what ever you use be careful not to make too tight and damage wheel.
Have also thought about drilling a
the pivoting deck and put 2 bolts in to hold it steady and let the wheel turn.
