- coolbreeze01ExplorerWhere are Carlisle tires made?
Depending upon which Carlisle tire you select, the tire could have been made in a U.S. factory or elsewhere. We are an American company committed to American manufacturing and standards. - kellertx5erExplorer

Here's what your saying-Carlisle made less than a desirable product about 7 years ago. I am saying they improved their product. But IYHO they are still junk.
Reality - there isn't any company that's going to stay in business making junk (again your words) product for years.
Unbelievable! - DutchmenSportExplorerI had Carlisle's on my last trailer and had no issues. But I had Duo??? tires on it for 5 years before that (original) and had no issues either. They dry rotted on me, so switch. I feel comfortable Carlisle is a good tire.
Now about those speed ratings? are you sure that is MPH and not KPH? (Kilometers)???? :) - spoon059Explorer III have some of these on my trailer. Put them on before a trip to Florida last year. Tires did great. No complaints. I bought load range D which was almost 50% more capacity than I needed. I have high confidence in the tires. Just like anything else, companies can improve. I believe that Carlisle makes a quality product.

- CKNSLSExplorerThe "old school" (like "midnight" above) on this forum are still complaining about Carlisle tires that haven't been manufactured in the last 4 or 5 years. I too have a set of 4- 14" ST of the new "RH's" that have about 8,000 miles on them with zero issues.
Mean while there has been more than one MAXXIS failures. At last count about 4 failures I believe. - midnightsadieExplorer IIcarlisle will prove in a short time to hold up there past rep. JUNK
- dockmasterdaveExplorerDo you remember about what they cost?
I'm just starting to shop for tire for my cargo trailer.
The TT tires are good.
