Actually, the transmission place did NOT do their job, which was to repair the transmission PROPERLY, which if you read you will see was not simply the OPINION of the OP, it was the professionally documented FACT by a proper transmission repair facility.
It does appear the OP finally did get the negligent shop to answer and stand behind the reimbursement of the faulty work, so it all works out in the end?
