Never seen such a disorganized bunch openly say they can't get it together on pack-up day.
It's simple:
The night before you pack away everything you won't use the next morning.
Toys, canoes, bicycles are all packed away.
Simple breakfast, lunch, catch your breath then go.
What you pack away the night before impacts the night before.
Do I shut down Saturday at 6:00 so that I can depart Sunday by 11:00?
There is merrit to putting things away early, however in order to leave swiftly it requires sacrificing part of the evening's activities the night before. I am not willing to give up Saturday night for the sake of Sunday morning.
It's really not rocket science. Night before I leave, I put away stuff Im not going to use either that night, or the next AM. It doesn't take 3 hours to break camp. I get up in the AM. Eat breakfast, lounge around, maybe visit RV.net, take my last dump, then do the tank dumps (if FHU), flush, pack up stuff, take dog for last walk, hook up and go.
It's not difficult, and I find it humorous that there are 8 pages debating this. Almost as bad as asking when do you make your bed.
