Let's be honest here, the person wants $39,000 for it. I'm guessing they're trying to recover some of the expense for restoring it. I'm sure it was "junk" like any other RV prior to the restoration and will be junk once again if left unmaintained.
Plenty of folks pay the trailer restoration outfits MEGA bucks to restore old trailers - *usually* to exact reproductions of the original.
It's kinda like having a '32 Ford 3-window built for you.
Lots of ways to have it done - all it takes is LOTS of bucks!
Or - if you have the time and talent - you can do lots (or all) of the work yourself.......still requires $$$.
BTW - there's a specialty cigar sales outfit that has a totally (modern interior) restored antique TT - that's avail for parties, etc.
Interior is a rolling humidor and smoking room - with wide screen TVs etc.
Sooooo even though it might not be your cup of tea, there are both private and commercial buyers who are willing to plunk down the bucks to have one built - or buy the finished item.

My post was so many thought this unit was high quality unlike todays units. NO it wasn't, it required 39,000 dollars worth of repairs to bring it back to like new condition.
Have no idea what the hell you're talking about.
