Checkout my home made slideout drip rails.

So, I had an issue with water getting in around the 13' main slide which caused minor damage to the plywood floor.
I traced the leak (at least I hope I did) back to the upper bulb seal and damaged mounting flange.
The slide would only leak when it was in the closed position.
I have three slides on the camper so I went ahead and replaced or repaired all nine bulb seals and caulked everything up nice and tight.
With the camper being stored outdoors and the slide retracted most of the time I decided it was best to keep the water from puddling on the top seals and to shed away from the slide and seals as much as possible.
I then had a local sheet metal shop cut and bend some .090 (12ga?) aluminum, these are fairly rigid and I wont have to worry about them flapping in the wind and the 13' drip rail is attached with 16-1 1/4" screws.
I decicdd to fab up some end caps to make the rails even more rigid.
Overall height is 4" including a 1" mounting flange with a 45* bend.
They stick out approximately 1 1/2"-2" over the slides with about 3/8" clearance from the top of the slide frame to bottom of the drip rail when extending and retracting.
Over all they turned out very good and it should solve my water issues.
I ran out of time so I'll paint them white next spring.
