It is a commercial CHP (taxpayers) pickup in the photo doing the people a favor. Good for the officer, hope he doesn't get a reprimand.

Owner should have had tow service for both truck and trailer......anyone towing should have both.
No covered tow then PAY for the tow.

Just goes to show you, that even police are really human! How easy it would have been for them to call a tow truck and then the owner would get billed without a choice. I'm glad to see this! Thanks for posting!

Wow, I'd say that was above and beyond the call of duty. The only experience I've had with the CHP in that area of the foothills was a ticket for speeding.
