I've pulled 3 TT's and one 5er with a combination of trucks. Changing trucks, WDH's, 5th hitches and pin boxes made no difference. I pulled one TT and the 5er with two different trucks and there was zero difference. Added shocks to one TT and one 5er. Made very little difference. Changed the pin box on the 5er to a MorRyde and it helped some. Current TT came with a MR3000 and shocks. Still has chucking/porposing or whatever you want to call it.
All trucks and trailers were well within the truck specs. All trailers we at or greater on pin% or TW%.
So many different variables that no one size fits all. Different trucks, different trailers, towing speeds, road conditions, etc.
The only time I had a very smooth tow was with a 4050 lb TT and an F150. The truck was loaded with most of the camping gear under a shell so the lightweight TT didn't push it around at all.
I'm no engineer but if you take a 7000+ lb truck and hitch up a 10,000-15,000 trailer to it then somethings gotta give when you hit dipty do's on the road.
Just watched a video a few days ago about towing with an F450 and a 40' triple axle TH. The couple in the front seat were moving around a little on the road. The kid in the back seat was on a laptop and the laptop was bouncing like crazy on his legs.
Go to the 9:00 min mark and check out the people jerking. IMO it's just the nature of the beast unless you get an air ride 5th hitch.

Yet ,hook up a different fifth ,and with that same truck hitch etc will be as smooth as glass. As said too many variables. Yet we get the Andersen critics that insist on this ,and that, but have never had one . Granted there has been some bed deflection , and Andersen does need to address it, same as B&W did when they were bending the beds up .
As said I tow with two different hitches, both the same. If I had chucking I could almost bet it would be with both hitches, but again speculation ,and no real way to know .
The thing is I have towed three different fifth wheels with two different trucks ,and three different hitches, and NEVER experienced the slightest bit of chucking. Two of the fifth wheels had a standard pin box ,the present fifth wheel has the MorRYde.

I towed a previous 5th wheel with a 2012 Ram 2500 CTD and my 2018 Ram 2500 Hemi. Same CC, LB, 4x4. I used the same two hitches with both. I started with a B&W Patriot and then with an Andersen rail version. Same exact tow experience.
I also towed the a previous TT with an F150 and the Ram 2500 CTD. Close to the same.
Yeah maybe a different 5th wheel would be smooth.
I will say though that on normal roads things are smooth enough. It's only on the rougher sections where things get a bit bumpy.
