Cleaning the roof ?

I have a rubber rood and I was told I could use spick and span and some bleach to clean it but I am having issues finding spick and span here and other suggestions on what I can use with a brush that wont damage it ?

Thanks
  • I was told I was better to stay away from it with all the other stuff they put in it now a days, most guys said they had great results with spick and span mixed for floor cleaning and bleach

I bought my spic n span at Walmart. All I could find was liquid. Worked well for me.

Thats where I was sure I was going to find it but here in Canada I have checked a bunch of stores and have had no luck

Maybe you should go to the site of the roof manufacturer like dicor or whoever and get the correct info rather than I was told I could use this or that. Some chemicals in some of these cleaners can actually do more harm than good.

A bunch of members on another site with the same material roof have used it for a while now I am sure if there were issues they would not be recommending it

  • I get my SpicNSpan at a local Ace Harware in the household cleaning section. It can be tough to find, though, as you've found out. I've heard Murphy's Oilsoap can also be used, but have never tried it. The brush I use is a softer split bristle brush with an extendable aluminum handle made for RV's. Comes in real handy for sweeping off the top of the slideout and retrieving balls and frisbees from trees, too.
