Not true. Laundry detergent and bleach are used daily in washing machines. No gasses are produced...
Agree. We use Tide and Bleach in our laundry all the time for washing whites. If that was toxic, I think we'd be having trouble with our septic tank. It's only been in the ground at our house for 45 years.
I think you are thinking about Toilet bowl cleaner and Bleach mixed. Now that produces toxic fumes.
