I've been to the show many times and have never been tempted to buy on the spot. Don't believe the lies, you can get the same price next month as the 'show special'. The whole thing is designed to push shoppers into making dumb impulse purchases.
When spending many thousands of dollars is NOT THE TIME to make an impulsive decision. Good luck.
During WWII it was a bomber plant and built planes. They started building tanks in the fifties. Do you also know that at one time it was used to store soybeans?
I doubt it was at the IX Center (tank plant). GM built military equipment there until 1972. :B It became an exhibition hall in the eighties. If you attended an event earlier it was probably at Cleveland Public Hall which is much smaller.
