I doubt it was at the IX Center (tank plant). GM built military equipment there until 1972. :B It became an exhibition hall in the eighties. If you attended an event earlier it was probably at Cleveland Public Hall which is much smaller.
Interesting, I've exhibited there(IX) several times and never knew the history. Thanks!
