The dual speed limits are undoubtedly the cause of man many accidents. I dread driving I69 north of Indy. Many, too many to recount incidents of sheninigans from Semi Drivers to count.
Four years ag or so coming up I75 south of Atlanta, we had a Semi in the next to merge lane come over on ud in the ane left of him, on puropse. He was going to take the whole front end off the coach. Stood on the brakes and he missed us by an inch or two. Further up the road another Semi driven by a Hispanic, did the very same thing. They came over with the rear tires of the semis about even with our kitchen area.
Called the State patrol and they stopped one of them. He was back on the Cb a bit later about he is .223 and his .308 and a bunch of nutty stuff.
Every day, just about, on the Interstate we encounter somewhat close calls and gut knoters. A lot of near wrecks from Gators. The waarmer it is the more and larger they seem to be. Saw a Motorcyclist hit a gator exploded in front of him. He went into the median and unfortunately didn't make it. Saw a small car hit a gator just thrown from a semi, on I75. took out the underside of the car and she crossed three lanes and into the concrete wall. We;ve paid several deductibles for signifigant damages from gators.
Wife seems to have a lot of people pull over on us when she drives. Right lane or left lane doesn't seem to matter. There are a bunch of people out there thatshouuld be on bicycles.
