We have one for our PT Cruiser.
I bought it in anticipation of our trip to Tennessee and back, It worked just fine, no problems at all.
We installed it every morning before hitting the road, took it off every afternoon when we stopped for the night. Folding it carefully and storing it in the trunk kept it clean enough that paint damage was not a problem.
