Rd rector, you should find a mobile RV tech in your area and strike up a deal with him. Next time you get a camper that needs help, you can smile and say "I will get somebody over here right away with an estimate to help you with that."
Then get a finder's fee or 10% of the bill or something from the RV tech as a referral fee. Keep the customers happy and make a few $ on the side!
Let's face it most folks don't know a lot about their rigs. If they have a problem threatening to derail their vacation, where's the logical place to start looking for help? At the CG office! They don't want you personally to do the repairs as much as they want somebody to help them fix their problem. Of course they get frustrated when you say, "Sorry I can't help you."
Why not have somebody on speed dial that CAN help them?
