So many high rollers.....GRIN
We purchased out 95 Bounder in 2002 for $35K. So initial purchase is about $2K a year to own it. I do all my own maintenance, so my labor rates are $0. Yes I have spent a few bucks for parts, tires, batteries, etc but the ol Bounder has been good to us for over 170,000 miles.
Fuel costs are minimal compared to a motel.
We spend our winter months in the desert, mostly on BLM (that's Bureau of Land Management) property, so our fees to park are minimal.
There is no way we could spend 3-4 months in the desert SW moteling it for the price we pay to RV.
